The Boys divisions will be 3^rd/4^th, 5^th/6^th and 7^th/8^th grades. The 2010 season begins with practices in late May.  The games will start in mid-June.  District playoffs will be held the week of July 26.  The state tournament is July 31 through August 1. 

All players are required to be members of US Lacrosse. Members will receive insurance coverage, lacrosse magazines, plus other benefits. The youth membership fee is $25 and is paid directly to USL in addition to the Orono Youth Lacrosse Association registration fee.  2009 Registration fees were $150 for 3^rd / 4^th or $225 for the older grade levels (we are currently reviewing the 2010 registration fee). The registration fee includes uniforms, referees, field fees, coach fees, goalie equipment (for each team) and membership in Youth Lacrosse Minnesota.

ALL players must be current as of April 2010 with their US Lacrosse numbers. If your player’s membership expires some time during this season, you will need to renew before the season starts. ALL players must show proof of lacrosse number and expiration date at time of registration.

• Youth Lacrosse Minnesota (YLM) designates the playing divisions by grade level (grade level is defined as the grade the player was enrolled in at end of school year - May 2010). 

• Up to March 31st, registration priority will be given to players residing in the Orono School District (#278). If there is space on a team, players from other school districts will be included on a team based on the order (by date) the registration was received by OYLA. After March 31 until the close of registration, OYLA will work on a first come - first served basis.

• IMPORTANT: Players residing in a district that currently has a YLM association must register with that association. Exceptions are allowed for open-enrolled students and private school students. In both cases, players may register with the association in that community.
